We do both site and in-house calibration checks. Our Engineer’s vehicle will carry 1,400kg of calibrated test weights, which covers the working weight of most palletizing scales, and obviously check weighers, balances, etc.
Scales found to be out of tolerance will be re-calibrated and tested again, if further work is required this will be reported and dealt with as a separate job.
We are happy to do Calibration Contracts and we can work together to manage your time schedules and book an Engineer when calibrations are due, or you can call when you require. Calibration stickers attached to the scale, Calibration Certificates typed and posted/emailed or both.
MPM can calibrate larger scales including heavy platforms such as coil weighers, skip weighers, both road and rail weighbridges, all of these would be calibrated using a test unit, certificated weights and fork lift.
Note: Test units are expensive. If you think you have an issue with heavy weighing equipment call the Engineer out first before booking a calibration check.
MPM also check/calibrate weights in-house up to 20Kg in brass, stainless steel and iron, and supply a test certificate.
We can also shot blast/paint and number iron weights before calibration.
